Damien Duff ready to fight for Celtic cause

He takes control with Leicester 10th in the Premier League ahead of tomorrow's trip to former club Watford.

Brendan Rodgers lost his Premier League return game as his Leicester City side fell to a 2-1 defeat to Watford on Saturday.

This sudden move from Rodgers came as a shock to many since Leicester are not fighting for any silverware this season whereas Celtic are more or less guaranteed atleast one trophy.

Former Hibernian star Tam McManus says that Brendan Rodgers will be working with players at Leicester City that are of greater quality to those he has left behind at Celtic, with only two Bhoys players capable of flourishing at the Foxes.

The Northern Irishman started his managerial career at Watford but, almost 10 years after leaving Vicarage Road to join Reading, he has plenty on his plate to show his latest switch was the right decision, Celtic having been on track for a trio of trebles under his leadership. England defender Maguire has reportedly attracted interest from some of the division's biggest clubs this season, with Manchester United heavily linked as a potential suitor ahead of the campaign.

"Then, I thought we worked our way into the game".

"We are still in the hunt, that is something I made clear to the players in the dressing room afterwards", he said, speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post.

Next up for Celtic is a home fixture against Aberdeen, as they look to extend their lead over Rangers at the top of the table.

"I'm developing Oli because of the output we've laid on him". We were a little bit slow with our passing in the first half, but we still got into some good positions.
