With Brown's time left in Pittsburgh looking limited, other National Football League players pondered what this means for his future-and that of the Steelers' franchise without their nine-season star.

"Thank you SteelerNation for a big 9 years", Brown wrote on Twitter.

All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown has asked the Pittsburgh Steelers to trade him, multiple media outlets reported Tuesday, as Brown bid farewell to Steelers fans on social media.

Brown, 30, attached a video of highlights from his time with the Steelers with Lil Uzi Vert's "Now I Do What I Want" playing.

Brown's future with the franchise came into question during the final week of the regular season when the star wide receiver didn't show up to practice ahead of a must-win game for the Steelers. However, his contract makes it unlikely that Brown would be traded.

According to Steelers president Art Rooney II, the Steelers still didn't hear from Brown in the weeks following that Week 17 contest. Brown is without question one of the best receivers in football.

Despite the off-field strife, Brown caught 104 passes for 1,297 yards and a club-record 15 touchdowns in 2018.

The Raiders hold three first round picks in April, including the No. 4 overall selection, and two late first rounders due to trades.

As outlined above, acquiring Brown comes with definite risk but could be a home run for a contender.
