The 36-year old, who acts as an advisor to the Donald Trump, has kept quiet regarding women's rights, particularly evident with her taking a back seat with the Christine Blasey Ford hearing and allegations of her father's sexual misconduct. "There's a reason today, the president signed WGDP as a national security presidential memorandum", Trump said. He was joined in the Oval Office by Ivanka Trump, elected officials, Cabinet members, business leaders and women who have benefited from such programs.

Trump during his State of the Union address on Tuesday night noted that he supports investing in the "industries of the future" - a phrase which was understood by media as recognition of White House efforts on AI, 5G deployment and other tech-based initiatives.

"Within the coming weeks, we could expect to see action created to preserve American [research and development] leadership in artificial intelligence, 5G, and the first deliverables from the National Quantum Initiative Act", the administration official said in an email to The Hill. But his daughter told The Associated Press that this effort was in keeping with administration goals, arguing it was a strategic investment that promoted security.

"We are proud to be the most generous nation in the world". Among those she has consulted for the project is former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.

The initiative will be led by Ivanka Trump. This initiative aims to help 50 million women in developing countries realize their economic potential by 2025.

During the presidential campaign, Ivanka continuously reiterated her self-identified role as a "wife, mother, sister, daughter", however people have called her out for only being an ally when it serves the administration.

Zambakhidze was struggling until she turned to the US government for help and received a $125,000 grant. "We think it's something that should sustain itself over time, and we're going to work really hard to show that this is a great use of foreign development assistance".
