R. Kelly Under Investigation in Georgia Following New Documentary's Abuse Allegations: Report

"I'm happy where I'm at and everything is OK with me", she said.

It comes after pressure on the pop star to condemn Kelly, whose history of alleged sexual abuse has come under the spotlight again due to the release of Lifetime docuseries Surviving R. Kelly.

Amid publicized allegations against him, R. Kelly made a surprise public appearance-with a defiant message. I believe these women and don't give a f** a href="https://www.complex.com/music/2019/01/common-failed-r-kelly-accusers" target="_blank" *TMZ Tuesday about how he believes he failed Kelly's accusers. The Savages claim they have not seen their daughter in two years.

Foxx said she has been "in contact with" people who have information related to claims in Cook County.

According to a marriage certificate that was uncovered in the '90s, Kelly had secretly married the Detroit singer Aaliyah Haughton when she was just 15.

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx is asking anyone with information to come forward.

But Foxx also said there's no active investigation of Kelly and launching one would require victims and witnesses.

"In order to have an investigation we have to have victims and witnesses who are willing to come forward with information", Foxx said.

In addition to Russell's threats, police have issued an arrest warrant for Kelly's former manager, #JamesMason.

He and Jonjelyn Savage, who were featured in the Lifetime series, said their 23-year-old daughter Joycelyn has been brainwashed by R. Kelly, despite several videos she has made where she says she is fine.

The New York Times reports that investigators from the Fulton County District Attorney's Office in Georgia contacted Gerald A. Griggs, the lawyer for Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage, on Monday. That latest report shows the parents of alleged victim #JoycelynSavage were threatened by Kelly's managers, #DonRussell and James Mason, before and after their cooperation with the docu-series "Surviving R. Kelly".

Future, who collaborated with Kelly on "Tear It Up" off 2013's Black Panties album, went on to clarify his stance.

As you can see above, the clip shows Jocelyn's dad Timothy Savage begging for his daughter to get in touch with her family as they haven't heard from her, whilst he also states he hopes that she's watched the much-talked about documentary.
