Woman claims Ronaldo threatened to have her “cut up” and her body “thrown in a river”

Cristiano Ronaldo's lawyer has said USA investigators are seeking DNA from the footballer in their investigation of a woman's allegation that the global star raped her in his Las Vegas hotel penthouse in 2009.

"Mr Ronaldo has always maintained, as he does today, that what occurred in 2009 in Las Vegas was consensual in nature", Peter S. Christiansen, a lawyer for the striker, said in October.

Mayorga claims Ronaldo raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009.

Central to Der Spiegel's account is a questionnaire in which Ronaldo reportedly admits that Mayorga told him "no" and "stop" multiple times.

A law enforcement official with knowledge of the case told the Wall Street Journal that authorities in Sin City recently sent the warrant to court officials in Italy, where the 33-year-old now plays for Juventus.

Lennard-who is a model as well as a reality television regular, appearing in shows like Make Me a Supermodel and Celebrity Big Brother-stated that she has years of messages that would back up her claims that Ronaldo was abusive and that he was unrepentant about his behavior, both with her and with other women.

Ronaldo has denied the allegation. Although the complaint was initially closed because Mayorga failed to offer up pertinent details of the incident or suspect, it was ultimately reopened in September 2018 when she filed a civil suit against Ronaldo. Lennard has since been in contact with Mayorga's team and will be looking to share her evidence with them.

Authorities in Las Vegas would then determine whether it matches genetic material found on Mayorga's dress.

However, her lawyers now want to annul that agreement, which she says she only signed because she was "terrified of retaliation" and of "being publicly humiliated by being identified as a victim of sexual assault".

Later that night, Mayorga went to the police to the report the assault and had a rape kit done.
