The renders reveal a triple-camera setup arranged in a triangle shape (we've seen weird setups arranged in L-shapes too).

The next iPhone could sport a three-camera system on the back similar to Android rivals like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Frankly, I think the setup looks ugly and doesn't seem to borrow from the company's elegant industrial design thinking. However, it is likely that Apple's phones will not continue to grow in display size and that the iPhone XI in its two or three variants will not become even bigger than their predecessors.

Apple is reportedly getting in on the camera count war by increasing the number of rear cameras to three and significantly expanding the size of the module. In the case of iPhone XI, it feels disoriented as the two sensors are aligned vertically just like in the iPhone XS and a third camera sensor is placed between the two, but on the side. Above that is an LED flash and a microphone on the bottom, ' the site reported. Suffice it to say, if you thought the camera bump on existing iPhones was noticeable, well, you may be in for quite a surprise when Apple officially reveals its 2019 iPhone lineup later this year. But it's worth noting that OnLeaks claimed these renders are from the early Engineering Validation Test (EVT) stage, so the design is still subject to change.

A recent Bloomberg story mentioned that Apple is interested in Sony's new ToF sensors.

It is not the first time we have heard that the 2019 iPhones could have three cameras, since some previous reports stated that the company could add a third camera with 3D ToF technology in the 2019 iPhones. One, Hemmerstoffer has provided accurate information regarding next-gen iPhone designs in the past.

Digit believes the render shows one of the higher end devices. There's no doubt the iPhone XI will support wireless charging and have aluminium core - even if it is for the premium models.
