Netflix followed up by tweeting a poster for Stranger Things 3 right after it debuted the release date trailer.

Netflix got 2019 started with a bang as it announced the return date for its smash series "Stranger Things".

The brooding caption reads: 'One summer can change everything, ' while Will and Eleven take a look back over their shoulders looking unsettled.

On New Year's Eve, the streaming giant released a brief teaser for the popular sci-fi series' upcoming third season showing a New Year's Eve countdown video from 1985 broadcast "live from WIYZ".

By the time "Stranger Things 3" begins streaming, it will have been nearly two years since fans were last treated to new episodes, with the most recent run streaming from October 2017. They want to deliver something bigger and better than past year.

Set in 1985 in, the show co-stars Winona Ryder and David Harbour.

It's a good thing you will probably already be off for the Fourth of July.

"Stranger Things 3" are the last words seen in the minute-long clip. Also joining the cast this season are Cary Elwes and Jake Busey, who are sure to add some flavor to the proceedings.

Levy also said, "We're not going to put Will through hell for a third season in a row".

There is definitely a vibe of techno-phobia in here, and we're sure clever clog fans can figure out what the hidden messages might mean: "When Blue And Yellow Meet In The West" and "Run Program SilverCatFeeds" are the two we spotted.
