Stores offering deals, staying open late on Christmas Eve

While the holiday season is a great time to enjoy some time off, it can be a pain if you are looking to finish some last minute Christmas shopping or need a few things for your holiday meals. However, it's worth noting that stores throughout the country will be closing early, shutting their doors at 6 p.m. local time on December 24.

Queen City Cinema Club is open regular hours both Christmas Eve and Day.

Select stores include LCBOs at King and Spadina, Carlton and Church and Front and Jarvis. Central Market closes at 8 p.m. Many shoppers are wanting to know if Costco is open on Christmas Eve 2018. You want a place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of the home during the holidays - a chance to slip out of the house and meet up with old friends, and possibly bring those favorite siblings or cousins along with you.

TTC Christmas Day - Sunday schedule, starts at 8 a.m. Boxing Day - Sunday schedule, starts at 6 a.m.

The Common Loon Pub will open at 5 p.m. on Christmas Day with a Christmas dinner special and a screening of what some say is the ultimate Christmas movie, "Die Hard". This means some lines will have trips at earlier hours than usual.




This Saturday before Christmas is widely known as 'Super Saturday, ' the largest shopping day of the year, following Black Friday. All stores across the nation will be closed on Christmas Day so employees can celebrate with their families.

Most Sainsbury's stores will then open at 7am on New Year's Eve but then close at 9pm or 10pm. Trader Joe's is closing at 6 p.m.

Casa Loma Christmas Eve - 9:30 a.m.to 1 p.m. Christmas Day - closed Boxing Day - 9:30 a.m.to 5 p.m.

While some businesses - like Sheetz - are running promotions on Christmas Day, other businesses that are ordinarily open around the clock - like Walmart - will actually close.

Toronto Premium Outlets: 6 a.m.to 11 p.m.
