Jennifer Lopez releases 'Limitless' music video

The mother-duo slayed

Jennifer Lopez stars as Maya, a 40-year-old woman struggling with frustrations from unfulfilled dreams.

The film's lead actress released a new music video for her song "Limitless" in promotion of the upcoming movie.

Lopez directed Emme in the women-centric video. In the first clip, Lopez says what she's trying to show is "women creating this fantastic, raging, colorful storm around them". The 49-year-old wastes no time dancing in a crimson power suit as well as a simple white top and cargo trousers.

The Los Angeles filmed music video marks Jennifer's directional debut.

Emme, who has a twin brother named Max, plays a younger version of Lopez as the pair jointly face hardship and vie to persevere.

It catches you right in the feels.

Proud mum Jennifer was full of praise for Emme when he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week ahead of the clip's release. It was all about her. (The plausibility of this part of the story is, like affordable leather, best not examined too closely.) This reunites her with a key person from her past (ditto), causes some issues with her sweetly loyal boyfriend Trey (Milo Ventimiglia), and leads to a fairly predictable story of business-y doings, deceit, exposure and ultimate empowerment.

Entertainment's premier triple threat is taking fans behind-the-scenes of her "Second Act" anthem "Limitless".

'We really bonded, ' Lopez added.

Despite keeping things low-key, the multi-talented star, 49, cut a stylish figure in a head to toe blush pink ensemble as she enjoyed her evening with her other half, 43. I have value. I am equal.

Second Act is set for United Kingdom release on 25 January.
