Last week, the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that E. coli associated with the romaine lettuce outbreak had been detected in the sediment of a reservoir used to irrigate the farm.

According to a report by CBC the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says certain red leaf lettuce and green leaf lettuce produced by Adam Bros. Farming at 805-925-0339. A full list of the tag numbers on the recalled products can be found here.

The farm initiated the voluntary recall with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Thursday.

Athough the company's romaine lettuce has been linked to the outbreak, not all of the illnesses reported have been, the FDA said.

The recalled cauliflower is labeled Adam Bros.

Adam Bros Farming added that none of the filtered, treated water has yet tested positive for E. coli and that all E. coli tests are returning negative.

Farming, Inc.in Santa Maria said Thursday that it is voluntarily recalling red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce and cauliflower that was harvested from November 27 to November 30.

The CDC said the investigation is ongoing, and it is likely that this is not the only farm involved.

The government also narrowed the source of the outbreak to three California counties: Santa Barbara, Monterey and San Benito.

Farming, Inc. said it had notified customers affected by the recall. If those products are ingested, contamination could lead to symptoms of nausea, vomiting and in more extreme cases, seizures, strokes, permanent kidney damage or even, death.
