Scotts Against Brexit Deal: Scottish Parties Uniting Against Divorce from the EU

Asked which of those two options was more likely if her deal does not pass, she said: "We haven't had the vote yet".

So if May wants to avoid losing both Brexit deal and her job, it may be that she needs to stop being quite so coy about the path or paths she may take, if (when?) she loses in 10 days.

Mrs May said that if her plan was voted down by Parliament, the government and businesses would have to make decisions about implementing preparations for no deal.

Hardline Tory Brexiteers may have failed to muster the sending of enough letters of no confidence in the Prime Minister to backbench supremo Sir Graham Brady a fortnight ago and trigger a leadership battle.

Mrs May said she was ready to use the G20 summit to correct suggestions by U.S. president Donald Trump - who is also in Buenos Aires - that her deal would leave the United Kingdom unable to forge a trade agreement with America.

Mrs May has said no, Labour says yes but only if it does not get a general election. "What I hope to see and what I'm sure we will be seeing is opportunities for young people in the UK, opportunities for training and skilling young people in the UK", May told reporters at the G20 summit in Argentina. We will be telling MPs why we believe this is a good deal for the United Kingdom because it is a deal that delivers on the Brexit vote.

"As you will know, up to six options for the UK's future will be voted on in the House of Commons on December 11", he said. I think we should remember that we gave the vote to the British people as to whether or not to leave the EU.

"It's about delivering the vote to leave the European Union and doing it in a way that protects people's jobs and livelihoods and protects our security and our United Kingdom".

Dr Fox was reported to be among a group of five Cabinet ministers seeking to tweak Mrs May's Withdrawal Agreement before MPs vote on December 11. I've got a deal which delivers for the British people.

Mrs May said that separate analyses produced by Whitehall officials and the Bank of England this week each showed that the agreement she reached in Brussels is "the best deal that honours the result of the referendum".

"It is expressly referenced in the deal that we have negotiated with the EU".

It also comes as the Conservatives and Labour, divided over Brexit, also find themselves unable to come to an agreement over the hotly anticipated televised debate on Brexit.

Asked if he thought the whole Cabinet would back the deal in the Commons, Dr Fox told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "I think members of the Cabinet will vote for the deal".

Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg, a staunch Brexiter who is one of the most vocal critics of the deal, said Friday that the government was trying to frighten people into accepting it with dire forecasts about the impact of leaving the European Union without an agreement.

The motion will be signed by the pro-independence Scottish National Party and Scottish Greens and the anti-independence Labour and Liberal Democrats.
