GOP senator rebukes Trump: We need to 'consider further action' against Saudis

A senior Saudi prince has cast doubt upon the reported CIA finding that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, saying the agency could not be counted on to reach a credible conclusion.

The CIA has reportedly concluded that the crown prince ordered the killing.

On Sunday, several USA senators - including members of Trump's own Republican party - rejected his attempts to discredit the United States intelligence agency's findings, however.

Ernst acknowledged Saudi Arabia's importance as a strategic partner.
