The reigning pop queen released a single of the same name shortly before 11:00pm on the East Coast, just over a half hour before the start of the totally unrelated Saturday Night Live.

Ari also posted a bunch of "thank you, next" content on Twitter yesterday, so it seems like she would really rather not with Pete/Pete's too soon jokes about their engagement.

The opening verse features references to four of her previous boyfriends, including rapper Big Sean, dancer Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson, and the late Mac Miller.

"Even nearly got married / And for Pete I'm so thankful", she sings.

The song goes on to talk about the lessons she learned from each of her failed relationships.

On the track, the singer names each of her exes and explains that she's thankful for what their relationships taught her.

Earlier in the week Grande tweeted her annoyance over Davidson using their split as fodder for an "SNL" promo. "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh", she said in a (since-deleted) tweet, then tweeted the phrase that would become the song's title.

Unsurprisingly, fans have been going insane over the track and have thanked the "Sweetener" star for providing them with the ultimate break-up song.

Meanwhile an emotional Davidson referenced the split on "SNL", as he wrapped up his segment on the show's "Weekend Update". "Sometimes things just don't work out and that's OK". He called her "a wonderful, strong person" and wished her the best. "Now, please go vote on Tuesday, all right?"
