The official said authorities had recovered soldering equipment, a printer, and stamps after arresting Sayoc.

What's more, an official tells The Associated Press that the man suspected of sending the bombs kept a list of apparent targets.

President Jeff Zucker said in a statement that the package - bearing a similar appearance to those last week - was intercepted at an Atlanta post office near the CNN Center, as The Hill and others reported. He has footage of the suspected pipe bomber at a Donald Trump rally a year ago.

Sayoc made his first, largely procedural court appearance on Monday in Miami.

"We don't know what they have yet". U.S. Magistrate Judge Edwin Torres said he would relay to jail authorities a request from Sayoc's attorneys to meet with their client at a table, instead of separated by plexiglass.

"It's hard to talk to someone through mesh", he said.

Shackled and wearing a beige jumpsuit, the 56-year-old man began to cry and the three lawyers with him stood shoulder to shoulder to obscure him from reporters and photographers.

The FBI said it believes the package intended for CNN headquarters in Atlanta that was discovered Monday is similar to those that Sayoc is accused of sending. One of those bombs was mailed to CNN offices in NY.

All mail at all of CNN's domestic bureaus has been screened at off-site facilities since Wednesday, so the package would have not come to the building.

The FBI has compiled a list of names and addresses found in the possession of suspected mail bomber Cesar Sayoc.

According to CBS News, the package that was intercepted in Atlanta was similar to 14 others that were sent to high-profile newsmakers and CNN's NY bureau since October 23.

"There is no imminent danger at CNN Center", he said in a message to employees that was also posted on Twitter.

Packages were addressed to former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Vice President Joe Biden, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., Sen.

Investigators say Sayoc's van, covered in pro-Trump stickers, was his home and bomb lab. Authorities say none of the devices had a trigger mechanism and Sayoc said he never meant to harm anyone. They were shipped through the mail in manila envelopes lined with bubble wrap.

Sayoc was an ardent Trump supporter whom acquaintances said had extremist views and who lived in a van covered in pro-Trump and anti-liberal stickers.

Now Moore himself has released raw footage of Sayoc at a rally for President Donald Trump soon after the inauguration that brings both to mind. Family members and associates have said he seemed to have mental-health issues, although he rejected their pleas that he seek help.

Trump tweeted: "There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news". The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly.
