Shortly after the fun and games, the Duke and Duchess were given some adorable presents for the newest arrival to the Royal Family, Baby Sussex.

The couple were pictured enjoying breakfast at the Lyall Bay café, before making their way outside to meet a line of young children who had patiently waited for the royals all morning.

For the occasion, Meghan wore J Crew jeans and a Karen Walker blazer before both she and Harry donned waterproof coats to shield themselves from the rain.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said people should check on those around them to make sure they are not hurt.

The Duke and the Duchess carried the traditional skirt of the place with utmost grace.

Harry planted a puriri tree which can grow up to 20metres tall.

The children cheered the Duke and Duchess on as they stepped up to the mark for their throws.

Ryen Anderson, 10, was on Meghan's team.

Nelson said he's been part of the group for two years, but this was the best thing he has been involved in, and it was fun meeting the Royal couple. Before he addressed the audience in NZ, Harry had said that he wishes a little princess is on her way. The soon-to-be royal parents are happy, and it is contagious.

So it makes sense that we nearly completely missed it when the mum-to-be sported a dramatic nail look during her tour of New Zealand with Prince Harry - not least because it was hidden away on her toes.
