JACKSONVILLE — Six people have been shot a few blocks from an National Football League stadium in Jacksonville, and three are in critical condition, authorities reported. Shots were then fired from the passenger side of the vehicle. The area around A Philip Randolph has been blocked off. JSO says the area is not in any immediate danger but has been roped off as officers investigate the shooting. "No suspect (s) in custody", said the office on Twitter.

One man was shot in the head and a woman was shot in the hip, one witness said, according to News 4 Jax. "At this time, six adults shot with three in critical condition".

Deputies say they are searching for a suspect who they believe is in a vehicle described as a gray/silver four door vehicle. "Anyone with information is asked to contact #JSO at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org", the office tweeted at 2:30 p.m. ET.




The Sheriff's Office also confirmed in the presser that any Jaguar fans will be escorted to their vehicles if parked within the crime scene.

Six people were injured Sunday in a shooting that took place five blocks away from TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ron Lendvay, director of investigations for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office gave no indication of any link to the game, which started at 1 p.m. and wasn't affected.
