The new iPhone XR will be available to pre-order from tomorrow but that's not the only launch coming from Apple in October.

Last month Apple announced a trio of new iPhones.

And while we've been waiting for an official invite to land for that event, the wait is finally over. This should be considered a near-term catalyst for unit growth and confidence in management to hit the Street's financial targets has increased.

It looks like Apple isn't anywhere near done with its product lineup for this year. The primary guess is the new iPad Pro models.

Beyond the "creativity" approach, the event could focus on updates to the iPad Pro, a new Apple Pencil 2, and possibly several Mac models including a refreshed version of the MacBook Air, and what some Apple hopefuls believe is a refreshed Mac Mini.

As for the new MacBooks we expect the introduction of a new "low-cost" model, which will replace the current MacBook Air.

Based on rumors that have circulated for months, Apple is expected to introduce new iPad Pros with edge-to-edge screens and Face ID and external display support. Apparently the iPad Pro 10.5 (2018) will be 247.64 x 178.52mm and the iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) will be 280.66 x 215mm.

On its website, Apple said the event will be live streamed.

Apple is hosting an event on Tuesday, October 30, where it is expected to announce more product updates, including new iPads. There are also rumours which suggest that Apple will update its Mac Mini as well.

"Apple already launched a new iPad this year but that is the regular 9.7" iPad (2018).

Other things we could see include an Airpod refresh featuring the long-awaited wireless charging case and maybe a new set of Apple-branded over-the-ear headphones.
