Valverde doesn't see PSG's Neymar returning to Barcelona

Neymar has spent plenty of time with his former teammates since leaving past year and maintains strong relationships with the likes of Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Gerard Pique.

Having left Barça to escape Lionel Messi's shadow, Neymar has found himself playing second fiddle to the 19-year-old sensation Kylian Mbappé, which has frustrated him and led him to ask for a move away from Paris.

Barcelona have no plans to re-sign Neymar, despite reports this week that they are keen to bring the Brazil worldwide back to Camp Nou.

The Brazilian superstar left Barcelona for Paris in the summer of 2017, a move that shocked the Catalan giants. "Right now we can't give an answer because no one has even mentioned it", Cardoner told radio station SER Catalunya on Friday.

But reports claim that Neymar is regretting his move to PSG and wants to return back to the La Liga as he feels that there is a lack of motivation at his current club.

There was also the foot injury sustained in March which forced him out for the rest of the campaign.

The player is desperate to return to Camp Nou by the end of this season, as per the reports in Spanish media.

Sources claim that star striker Neymar wants to leave Paris PSG, not to be in the shade Mbappe. But that's not the case.

"No one on the current Barca board has talked about a return for Neymar, so it's really a hypothetical question as it's not being looked at. But until now no one has talked about it".
