Why One Woman Who Signed Letter in Support of Kavanaugh Is Now Regretful

"A good day. We're very happy with the progress we've made". I drank to excess many nights with Brett Kavanaugh.

"What I saw was them more concerned about their processes and their structure and their schedule, than the human element of what was going on and what happened 37 years ago", Hill said. She said: "Don't look away from me".

Brookes said that during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, her and multiple classmates from Yale were emailing and texting their outrage to each other as Kavanaugh told lie after lie to the American people. According to the Twitter account @Congressedits, which keeps tabs on changes to Wikipedia, someone in the House of Representatives anonymously edited the Wikipedia results for "Devil's Triangle" during the hearing to include the result, "a popular drinking game enjoyed by friends of Judge Brett Kavanaugh".

A Yale classmate of Brett Kavanaugh's claims the Supreme Court nominee lied about his drinking habits in college during his Thursday hearing. James Forman, a criminal law professor, canceled classes after hearing that some students were traveling to Washington D.C.to protest Kavanaugh.

Yale's public affairs office trumpeted Kavanaugh in a July press release, following his nomination to the USA top court, as a "terrific judge" who wrote "smart, thoughtful and clear" opinions.

On Monday, Yale Law School students gathered in a campus building wearing only black to demand a full investigation into the accusations. "I did not have sexual intercourse or anything close to sexual intercourse in high school or for many years thereafter ..."

'This is about the integrity of the Supreme Court, ' she said.

'I like beer, I still like beer, ' Kavanaugh testified under oath in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. I went to Wharton. A woman was seen crying outside a Washington office building while she followed Ford's testimony on her cellphone.

Some students who declined to be quoted by name said there is support for Kavanaugh on campus and that others were rushing to judgment too quickly on the allegations against him. Republicans say reopening the FBI investigation is unnecessary because committee members have had the opportunity to question both Kavanaugh and Ford and other potential witnesses have submitted sworn statements. Kavanaugh has vehemently denied the allegations.

Ford told the Judiciary Committee she hadn't told anyone about her alleged sexual assault by the 1990s, when Kavanaugh was screened for a job in the Justice Department, or even by the early 2000s, when he was cleared to work in the White House of President George W. Bush.

The room erupted in applause when Senator Dick Durbin, a Democrat, made a reference to the almost 50 Yale Law professors who have called for the Federal Bureau of Investigation to look into Ford's allegation. The yearbook seemed to disrespect a woman named "Renate", who in the page Kavanaugh said he was an "alumnius" of.

"It is truth that is at stake, and I believe that the ability to speak the truth, even when it does not reflect well upon oneself, is a paramount quality we seek in our nation's most powerful judges", Ludington said, noting he plans to take his information to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
