Lawyer Michael Avenatti identified his client on Twitter and also posted an email to the committee, as well as what he said was a sworn declaration from the woman outlining her allegations against Kavanaugh involving incidents in the 1980s.

Julie Swetnick, the third woman to accuse Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct, has given her first on-camera interview.

Kavanaugh and his chief accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, who says Kavanaugh assaulted her in high school, are both expected to testify Thursday.

Lawyers for Kavanaugh sent five pages from the calendar to the Senate Judiciary Committee late Tuesday, notifying them they meant to use the pages to prove Kavanaugh wasn't at a 1982 house party where Christine Blasey Ford alleges Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed, groped her, tried to remove her clothes and put his hand over her mouth.

Kavanaugh has also been accused of sexual misconduct by Deborah Ramirez, a woman with whom he went to college. "I know friends that have had false charges".

Chairman Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley left open the possibility that the committee may not vote Friday to advance the nomination of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as previously planned.

Kavanaugh is denying the new allegations. Kavanaugh has adamantly denied the allegations, which he said were "from The Twilight Zone", and says he doesn't know who Swetnick is.

"I strongly believe Judge Kavanaugh should withdraw from consideration", Schumer said in a statement.

"She said that in high school she had been trapped in a room and physically restrained by one boy who was molesting her while another boy watched", his statement says.

"I also witnessed efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could then be "gang raped" in a side room or bedroom by a "train" of numerous boys".

In a statement released by the White House, Kavanaugh denies the allegations.

The output of the shadow reluctantly, she agreed to come to testify Thursday in the Senate during a hearing that will be broadcast live.

After the publication of his testimony, 65 women, friends or acquaintances of the judge Kavanaugh since high school, had published a letter to say that the judge was always respectful towards them. "I have never done that to her or to anyone".

President Donald Trump said he would have pushed Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination through the Senate two weeks ago if he were responsible for the proceedings.

Swetnick said she attended more than 10 parties where Kavanaugh and Judge were drinking excessively and engaging in "highly inappropriate conduct, including being overly aggressive with girls and not taking "No" for an answer".

Those documents could have weight because people who Ford has said were at the party she's described have not corroborated her account.

Kavanaugh's lawyers sent the pages to the committee late on Tuesday, according to USA Today, aiming to disprove Ford's allegation that he sexually assaulted her at a party around that time. She does not allege that Kavanaugh attempted to rape her, but says she was the victim of one of these alleged gang rapes and suggests he participated in others. Her name is Julie Swetnick, and here's her story. The outlet discovered that an ex-boyfriend of Swetnick filed a restraining order against her in 2001 after she threatened him - threats he said continued even after he got married and had a child. The committee's all-male Republican roster will bring in Rachel Mitchell, a sex crime prosecutor from Arizona, to question Ford for them.
