"But I have never done that to her or to anyone", he will say on Thursday as per the prepared testimony. Friends of Ford, some of whom flew across the country to support her, will be taking up the rest of the reserved seats, the outlet added. Judge was a high school classmate of Kavanaugh.

Accuser Christine Blasey Ford recalled a 1982 house party that she attended along with Kavanaugh, his friend Mark Judge and others. He also submitted two written statements, one on Monday and a second, more in-depth statement on Wednesday.

Dr. Ford's allegation dates back more than 36 years, to a party that she says occurred during our time in high school.

Kavanaugh has strongly denied her claims as well as allegations by two other accusers. "I have never done that to her or to anyone". Trump said. "Because I've had a lot of false charges against me".

FILE - Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh testifies before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the third day of his confirmation hearing as he is joined by, from right to left, his wife Ashley Estes Kavanaugh, and their daughters.

Another woman, Deborah Ramirez, has since told U.S. media that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a college party in the 1980s.

Dr Ford was seated at a table in the packed hearing room flanked by her lawyers, facing a bank of senators. He also said, however, that his mind could be changed after watching the public hearings.

The White House had no immediate comment.

Brett Kavanaugh, Donald Trump's nominee to the supreme court, and the woman who accused him of sexual assault will deliver dueling testimony before USA lawmakers on Thursday at a hearing that will likely define whether the judge will be confirmed to America's highest bench.

"He is asking for a lifetime appointment to the nation's highest court where he will have the opportunity to rule on matters that will impact Americans for decades", the 10 Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee said in a letter to the president.

Ford 's emotionally-charged testimony concluded with her recounting details of her alleged assault and providing lawmakers insight into why she chose to come forward.

Shortly after Ford made the claims, she stated that "there is zero chance that I would confuse [Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge]".

"I was accused by four or five women who got paid a lot of money to make up stories about me", Trump said.

Brett Kavanaugh was under investigation by the Senate over a fourth allegation this week, this one of physical assault, NBC News reported on Wednesday.

She then described a summertime party.

The affidavit said she has clearances to work with multiple federal agencies, including the Treasury Department.

Mr Kavanaugh has steadfastly denied all the allegations.

Lawyer Michael Avenatti provided a statement from his client to the committee.

During the free-wheeling news conference, Trump continued to lash out at Democrats and label the allegations against Kavanaugh politically motivated.
