"He violated Ms. Constand's trust, which, unbeknownst to her, he spent time and energy cultivating with the specific intent of having sexual contact with her".

Cosby was the subject of "the most racist and sexist trial in the history of the United States", his publicist, Andrew Wyatt, told reporters just minutes after he was led out of the courthouse in shackles on Tuesday. Legal experts told CBS News that Cosby will likely be in prison at least a year before he sees any action on an appeal.

On how Cosby is doing: "Mr. Cosby knows that God is watching over him".

On Sept. 25, 2018, the man once known as "America's Dad" became inmate NN7687 at SCI Phoenix, located in suburban Philadelphia.

Cosby had remained out of prison for the past five months on $1 million bail, and his lawyers said they plan to appeal his convictions. Cosby was found guilty and on Tuesday was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison. Another DA reopened the file a decade later and charged the TV star after stand-up comic Hannibal Buress' riff about Cosby's being a rapist prompted other women to come forward, and after a federal judge, acting on a request from The Associated Press, unsealed some of Cosby's startling, decade-old testimony in Constand's related civil suit.

Minutes before a handcuffed Bill Cosby walked out of the courtroom as an 81-year-old convicted sex offender, he removed his dark pinstripe blazer and purple tie, and rolled up the sleeves on his crisp white shirt.

The newly-dubbed "sexually violent predator" will not be required to shell out the salaries for those who worked the case, and the DA's office is not seeking any reimbursement for his 2017 mistrial, officials said.

O'Neill said he would not hold it against Cosby that he didn't speak or testify.

According to RadarOnline, the source snitched out the fact that Cosby is not adjusting well to being a prison inmate.

Prison isn't a great time for anybody, but Bill Cosby is really struggling and reportedly pleaded with Camille to, "Grab the checkbook and hire anyone and everyone", in an effort to get him out. I mean, I get it.

Among the dozens of women who accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault, it was the steely resolve of a Toronto woman that finally brought justice.

In 2017, Cosby's first trial ended in a mistrial after a jury from Allegheny County declared itself hopelessly deadlocked.
