However after scouring all the boxes, agents found a total of 540 packages of coke, with an estimated street value of almost $17.8 million.

U.S. Customs arrived on the scene, and the substance tested positive for cocaine. The finding led to the TDCJ involving the Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in the investigation into where the narcotics could have come from.
