Sarri would have been forgiven for making a slow start to his Chelsea career, given the lack of time he had to implement his style of play to the squad, but they players have taken to it well.

Chelsea thumped promoted Cardiff 4-1 for their fifth win of the season, keeping their 100 percent record and Sarri became only the fourth Premier League coach - after Carlo Ancelotti, Craig Shakespeare and Pep Guardiola - to win their first five games.

Sarri believes Hazard can score as many as 40 goals - even though his best Premier League tally is 16, set in the 2016-17 season - and that he should be gunning for the Premier League Golden Boot award. We spoke yesterday and I told him he can score 40 goals.

Luiz has made more than 200 first-team appearances during his two spells at Stamford Bridge.

"I think [Hazard can win the Premier League Golden Boot]".

"When he gets the ball he can hold the ball and we can go in deep with him, so for us it's a pleasure to play with him". So I have to organise them better defensively and the players have to understand that'.

Speaking after Saturday's victory over Cardiff, as reported by Goal, Sarri revealed that the midfielder could feature, but was unclear about whether or not he will be fit enough to start the game.

'I thought he was one of the best in Europe. That's what is important. "I think there are three teams worse than us [in the division]".

Cardiff took a shock lead through defender Sol Bamba's tidy finish, as the visitors pulled off a smart training-ground move.

"The manager just wants Chelsea to keep the ball, and then when we can find a solution, we need to find good passes between the lines, like Jorginho, (Mateo) Kovacic and (Cesc) Fabregas can do". "We have a lot of freedom on the pitch, and at the moment when we try and do something it's coming off".
