Overnight Harry and Meghan stepped out in London's Royal Lancaster Hotel for the 2018 WellChild Awards-an event Harry has been patron of since 2007.

In the photo, Meghan goes makeup-free and wears her hair scraped back into a scruffy top-knot (yes, Meghan is JUST like us), while Rylan looks adorable in a fairy costume.

Celebrity stylist and PR Rochelle White told Femail: 'Megan has been mindful this evening in regards to her outfit.

Meghan's beauty look at the event too meant business. Do you think she'll get used to it eventually? Her signature messy bun completed the elevated look.

The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry met seven-year-old Matilda Booth at the WellChild Awards this evening.

In fact, Harry was caught off guard when after the performance the couple was on stage to take pictures with the musical's cast and Meghan called her better half by his nick name, making him blush.

Harry also made a "pinky pledge" with Matilda during a reception before the awards ceremony began, hooking his little finger around the girl's finger.

The WellChild Awards are an annual ceremony recognizing the bravery of seriously ill children and their caregivers.

Winners included four-year-old Mckenzie Brackley, four, who had to learn to speak, swallow, eat and drink and move again due to acute flaccid paralysis.

Newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently welcomed a new addition to the family, with news emerging last week they'd reportedly invested in a pet dog together.

"Despite his own problems Mckenzie cheers up everyone when they are low, and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face", WellChild said.
