ABC Sets ‘Bachelor In Paradise’s Colton Underwood For Next ‘The Bachelor’

He thanked her for her friendship, noting that he knew it would continue beyond the time they had in Mexico.

Tia Booth and Colton Underwood may have called it quits on 'Bachelor In Paradise, ' but Tia has no bad blood towards her ex now that he's the new Bachelor. Both Colton and Tia left Bachelor In Paradise after their heartbreaking split.

The former football player was revealed as the new suitor on today's edition of Good Morning America. "I can't say enough good things about Becca and enough good things about Tia".

He also got some words of encouragement from Booth.

"I committed fully into that relationship and I gave it an honest-to-God shot", he said, "but I woke up one morning and realized that a future wasn't there. That's the worst part of it all", he told her. Tia was blindsided by the breakup, but it was all for the best. I wouldn't change the man I am if I was the bachelor and wasn't going to change the man I am to become the bachelor.

Horstmann continued, "I have nothing but respect for these two and I wanna wish @coltonunderwood luck on his Journey". "[Being a virgin] needs to be normalized; it's just who I am and what I believe in". I hold a lot of value in it and I hold it to a high standard. I just wasn't the person for her.

Season 22 of The Bachelor was one of the most heated and controversial in recent memory, with Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. having second thoughts as production wound down and after he chose Kufrin his fiancée, and then ran back to runner-up Lauren Burnham. I'm so unbelievably happy with myself and now I can focus on finding my wife.

Seriously, these were the only positive tweets I could find. "And hopefully I'll come out of it engaged".
