Police have identified the woman who was caught on video crashing her vehicle in a high-speed chase and attempting to carjack someone - all with a baby in tow. She approached a white SUV and attempted to carjack the vehicle, but a DPS trooper arrived on scene and pulled her from the vehicle.

Recently, the Texas Department of Public Safety presented a video of aviation operations at a Public Safety Commission meeting. The incident occurred in the city's southwest side near Lackland Air Force Base. The chase eventually comes to an end when Rodriguez crashes into the rear end of a truck stopped at a traffic signal.

The female motorist got out of her auto and retrieved another child in the backseat, as troopers arrested the vehicle chase suspect. The baby is strapped into a baby carrier.

Rodriguez then allegedly tried to carjack another vehicle by jumping into the passenger's seat, carrying the infant in a auto seat the entire time.

Another officer removes the uninjured baby and places the auto seat on the pavement.

Police can be seen pointing their weapons at the vehicle while attempting to extract her from the SUV.

Police separated the woman from her child after placing her under arrest.

The mum led police on a 100mph auto chase before she crashed her vehicle.

Caitlyn Rodriguez, 29, was charged with evading arrest, endangering a child and possession of a controlled substance after the chase in Texas.

The baby, who was not injured, was taken by Child Protective Services.
