Everton signed Yerry Mina for 30.25 million euros, André Gomes on a one-season loan deal, and Bernard on a free transfer.

The Colombian has signed a five-year deal, and expressed his delight upon completing his move to Goodison Park, while speaking to the official Everton website.

Meanwhile Merseyside rivals Liverpool have sent injury plagued striker Danny Ings on loan to Southampton. Everton agreed a €2.25m (£2.02m) loan fee for the 25-year-old, who now has a minor injury but passed a medical held in Barcelona, and will pay his wages in full for the season.

He has played 14 times for Brazil, scoring once, with his last worldwide appearance coming at the 2014 World Cup.

In March, having endured consistent criticism for failing to live up to his Valencia form, the 25-year-old described his Barca spell as "a kind of hell", admitting he had struggled with depression.

Everton will sign Mina for a fee of £27m while Gomes joins on a season-long loan at a cost of £2m.

Capped 14 times by his country, Bernard can play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder.

None of the deadline-day signings will feature at Wolves on Saturday but Everton's summer business means Ademola Lookman could be squeezed out. "He is a very good coach and he has achieved really good things at other clubs", he said in a statement.

'They are historically among the four most successful clubs in England and when I found out about the club and what the manager wanted from me, I was happy.
