Google to launch Pixel Stand charging dock with Pixel 3

One thing that is surely going to get mixed reactions from the fans is the notch, and yes, Google is all set to launch the Pixel 3 XL with a notch on top.

As per their report, Google's Pixel 3 XL, codenamed "crosshatch", not only features a notch over the display, but also sports dual-front cameras.

The net has gone real photos Google Pixel 3 XL is the flagship smartphone of the third generation, before the announcement of which remains for several months.

As far as other details, we can see that this unit in the pictures is a test model (EVT 1.0) with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Both Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL are touted to launch somewhere in October along with Pixel Stand and preferably, the devices will have wireless charging capabilities. "Your Assistant can use your personal info to make suggestions, answer questions, and take actions for you when your phone is locked and on your Pixel Stand", reads the patch notes.

Received by XDA Developers, the images of the white Pixel 3 XL show bootloader information of the phone.

9to5Google is reporting that the alongside the updated phone will be a new accessory called the Pixel Stand.

However, in a move that will seemingly permit wireless charging support, the aluminum portion has been swapped out for a new frosted glass section that sits on top of the regular glass panel.

Already there are few leaked images of the Pixel 3 devices.

Also, there are sources which have confirmed that at least one variant will be of 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage capacity. It sounds similar to the charging docks that Amazon recently unveiled, which essentially turn your Amazon Fire tablet into an Echo Show speaker.

Unlike Apple, Google's next smartphones are expected to retain a single-lens camera design on the back panel. The way that most customers would not be keen on an unadulterated physical dock even with Assistant capacities, the nearness of remote charging ability is likely.
