This debacle is definitely a low point for the singer, who's been open about her addiction to drugs that began when she was just 17-years-old. According to the source, remaining under doctor's care is the best thing for Lovato at the moment.

The singer and actress has been surrounded by family and friends at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles since she was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

"I think it was very wise for her friends, or family, or whoever it was to have Narcan on hand".

Demi Lovato is now recovering from a drug overdose and is reportedly in stable condition as she gets treatment at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The operator directs her to stay with the patient, and he will stay on the line with her until paramedics arrive at the address.

A few weeks ago, sources close to Demi tell TMZ that members of her team realized she was "in a bad place", TMZ writes, "and even confronted her about it". "Demi's team has been down this path with her before and, although hesitant at first, she agreed to go to rehab".

A source who spoke with Us Weekly claimed that Lovato fired her sobriety coach just a couple of days she collapsed, and she also got rid of her lifestyle trainer, Mike Bayer.

At this stage, the woman tells the operator: "No sirens please".

She answers: "I was, I am downstairs, other people are upstairs with her". The assistant entered the room and found Lovato unresponsive, tried waking her and when she couldn't, she called 911, TMZ says. Her decision was allegedly sparked by an incident in 2010 when she punched a backup dancer in the face while on tour with the Jonas Brothers.
