Mega Millions Jackpot Increases to $433 Million Ahead of Friday Night’s Drawing

Friday night's winning numbers were 1, 14, 30, 44 and 62, plus the gold Mega Ball 1.

The Mega Millions jackpot is nearing the half-billion mark with a $493 million estimated total for Tuesday's drawing.

It's been a banner year so far with two major Mega Millions jackpots already being won. The drawing was at 11 p.m.

The odds of winning both jackpots are 1 in 75 quadrillion - that's 15 zeros - according to data scientists at Allstate. In all, three Mega Millions jackpots have been awarded in 2018.

Then, on Saturday night, Powerball draws for $130 million. "Even if a player doesn't win the jackpot, they can still be a big victor".

Twenty-two jackpots have been won in the month of July since the game began in 2002.

If someone won tonight, the cash value option would have been worth $226 million.

This year, 20-year-old Shane Missler of Port Richey won a $451 million prize on January 5, while Richard Wahl of Vernon, N.J., won $533 million on March 30. The odds of winning are about 1 in 303 million. Those tickets were sold in IL and Pennsylvania. If you match 3 white and 1 yellow, you'll win $200.

Those looking to play Mega Millions have to get their $2 tickets before 10 p.m., according to the statement.

If you snag the winning ticket, the amount can be claimed up to one year from the date it was drawn.
