England will play Croatia on Wednesday for a place in the World Cup final. I actually watched England win the World Cup, I actually watched it.

And last but by no means least, our personal favourite: Neo finally getting to grips with "The Matrix" by accepting that football is, unequivocally and without doubt, coming home.

Dubbing "Three Lions" over absolutely every movie ever made has proved to be a popular theme.

The famous song "Three Lions" has topped the United Kingdom charts 22 years after it's first release as the nation continues to be gripped by England's performance at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

The Three Lions was originally released for the European Championships in 1996 when it topped the charts.

The Official Vodafone Big Top 40, produced by Global, is said to be the only chart that reflects consumption of music in the United Kingdom in real time.

In 2018, right at this moment, "Three Lions" is all-pervasive on the English airwaves, utterly unavoidable at bars and pubs, pumped out virtually on repeat before, during and after English World Cup matches.

"I don't know what it is, but sometimes I get a feeling for certain things".

Comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner helped write the lyrics and even acted in the music video - which opens with a montage that builds from England's team low-lights, to highlights.

"All the England players have got to do is watch each other's back", he told Sky Sports News. That "could", so tentative and clouded by doubt, says it all.
