While India has been a consistent limited overs side over the past 6-7 years, England has of late lifted their game in coloured clothes by miles, thanks to a group of fantastic limited overs players like Jos Buttler, Jason Roy and Ben Stokes.

The much awaited India England series is all set to kickstart from the 3rd of July. They were both deceived by flight and failed to read the turn off the pitch, getting out off successive deliveries.

Virat Kohli said India will be open to changing the batting order through the T20I series. While the current crop of Indian batsmen have failed to play spin like the golden generation, it shouldn't be a major worry in the shortest form of the game.

Krunal Pandya is in frame to replace the injured Sundar. "We're settled but we're going to be a lot more flexible", Kohli revealed. If he manage to score eight more runs then Kohli will become the second Indian after Mithali Raj to achieve this milestone in overall T20 cricket. Chahar impressed with the new ball in hand for champions Chennai Super Kings in the recent IPL and has been in good wicket-taking form in the ongoing tri-series in England also involving the English Lions and West Indies "A" team.

Buttler continued from where he left in the IPL, where he struck five successive half-centuries for the Rajasthan Royals and finished the tournament with 548 runs from 13 matches at a strike-rate of 155.24. They could do with picking his wrong' un as well which is easier said than done.

Nine days after his astonishing century here sealed a 5-0 one-day whitewash against Australia, Buttler motored his way to a 29-ball half-century, his seventh score of 50 or more in his last nine worldwide innings.

Here we predicted a playing XI of the Indian team for the first T20I against England.

But it proved far too little as India cruised home with 10 balls to spare. "We believe in our abilities as a team". The Men in Blue will look to dominate the home team from the very first game.

India are happy that the six-match limited-overs phase allows them to settle nicely into English conditions before the Test challenge.

"We have actually been able to create flat wickets into wicket-taking wickets with the variety we have in the attack", skipper Kohli had said, referring to his wrist-spinners before the team departed for the United Kingdom tour.

Eight of the team likely to face Chahal again at Old Trafford on Tuesday were in the one bamboozled by him in the T20 at Bangalore previous year.

In the fourth over, he dismissed a well-settled Jos Buttler for 69 to end England's slim hopes of recovering and finishing strongly. "I don't think it's a case of putting (victory over Australia) to one side when there are huge positives to take from the series", said the 31-year-old Irishman.
