"Only a couple of days after Heather Locklear was released from a three-day psychiatric hold, the actress was arrested for battery on a police officer", reports The New York Post's Page Six.

The latest infraction went down at her home on June 24, according to TMZ.

Paramedics were called to the scene to have Locklear checked out and as the EMT was examining her, Locklear allegedly kicked the EMT.

Heather Locklear left a Ventura County, Calif., jail Monday on a $20,000 bail bond following her arrest Sunday night. She later plead not guilty to these four misdemeanor counts of battery in April, according to the Associated Press.

"This has been a long time downward spiral for her, that has been painful for everyone to witness", the source says.

Heisser told a different story, claiming it was Locklear who attacked him, and had red mark on his chest and blood on his nose according to the report. Captain Garo Kuredjian, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, did not offer many specifics, beyond saying the actress faces two counts of misdemeanor battery - one related to attacking an officer, the other involving assaulting a member of the emergency personnel team.

"In the process of trying to separate her, she battered the deputy. There was no injury to the deputy". "They hope this time she will take rehab seriously and turn her life around for herself and her daughter".
