Prince Louis will be seen for the first time since his Lindo Wing photo op next month, when he's christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Most Reverend Justin Welby on July 9.

Last month, the prince, who is president of the FA, had to miss the FA Cup final to fulfil best man duties at his brother Harry's wedding.

Now eight weeks old, he was born in London on 23 April, weighing 8lb 7oz.

Prince William and Middleton will reportedly make a compromise for their son's christening.

Princess Charlotte is "obsessed" with bags and the colour pink, Prince William revealed.

However, Princess Charlotte was christened at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk in 2015.

It's set to take place on Monday, July 9, according to a statement from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released via the palace.

It's not yet known who Prince Louis' godparents will be, but punters seem to believe soon-to-be former private secretary Miguel Head and his childhood nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke are favourites in the running. Will George and Charlotte be there?

George held William's hand, while baby Charlotte was pushed by Kate in a vintage pram, previously used for two of the Queen's children.

Will Meghan and Harry be at Prince Louis' baptism?

The world will get a glimpse of the newest royal prince very, very soon.

Only 23 guests attended George's christening at the Royal Chapel in 2013, but one new guest for this year will be the newly-married Duchess of Sussex.

"Judging by the previous christenings, and the importance of the day for the family, Louis' christening will be a private affair, perhaps no surprise there", James Brookes told Express.
