"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria has become a mother for the first time, Hola reported.

The news broke late Tuesday in Hola magazine, which released the exclusive first picture of Longoria, 43, and her baby boy, Santiago Enrique Baston.

Santiago was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and weighed in at 6 lbs and 13 oz.

Longoria and Bastón married in 2016. On New Year's Day, the former Telenovela star shared a sweet photo of herself cradling her tiny baby bump via Instagram.




Almost a week before Santiago arrived, Eva said goodbye to her beloved dog Jinxy, who died in her arms after suffering a stroke. News she was really looking forward to being a mom.

"I'm like, "Oh, he's going to have to come out eventually, right?"

She also said the secret to her relationship with Baston was good communication. I have to tell you all I did was eat cheese.

"I can't wait to meet him".
