Prince Harry, Meghan to make first official trip to Ireland

Meghan also isn't the only royal who has chosen not to wear her name tag, as the Duchess of Cornwall has also previously omitted wearing the name tag.

In a 30-minute tell-all interview with ITV's Good Morning Britain, Thomas Markle reflected on how he felt watching the ceremony from thousands of kilometres away due to his poor health. Dettori was jubilant in his triumph, kissing Meghan Markle's hand and hoisting the trophy for photos.

"I was jealous", he added.

Earlier Tuesday, officials said Harry and Meghan will make their first official trip overseas to Ireland next month.

Since Thomas had to drop out, Harry's dad, Prince Charles, walked the gorgeous bride down the aisle instead, which Thomas said was an honor. The couple exchanged rings while looking each other in the eyes.

When asked by TV host Piers Morgan if he believed Prince Harry supported the US president, Markle replied, "I would hope not now, but at the time he might have been". "That really upsets me somewhat".

Commenting on her wardrobe choice for her engagement in Chester, she added: "For this particular occasion, their first official joint engagement in Cheshire, Meghan is the ideal princess in a more demure classic style". "I said you're a gentleman, promise me you'll never raise a hand against my daughter and of course I give you my permission".

When asked when he knew they were serious about their relationship, he said: "I can't give you a date no, it was certainly a few months before the announcement of the engagement".

In the interview, Mr Markle said his daughter "had the sense" not to invite any of her family members after up to "60 Markles came out of the woodwork" asking for wedding invites.

After Meghan Markle confirmed her father Thomas won't attend the wedding, Prince Charles offered to walk the bride down the aisle.

The Duchess of Sussex has been spotted in notably more demure designs since her May nuptials, including a pastel pink Goat dress for Prince Charles's 70th birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace, and a pink Carolina Herrera dress at Trooping the Colour. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex chats with Prince Harry. "My daughter's certainly, certainly a prize for him as well", said Thomas.

Meghan, 36, said: "Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding".
