As you might expect the game looks gorgeous, and certainly a lot brighter and more colourful than numerous games in the franchise.

We'll no doubt learn a lot more about the game tomorrow afternoon when Ubisoft reveal all during their press briefing.

Instead of scaling pyramids, though, you'll be scaling Greek statues in places like Delos, Athens, and Sparta.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey screenshots have leaked. The one played by Gerard Butler in 300. So what are we expecting? We're not getting our hopes up, but be on the lookout just in case. In one case, Socrates gave me heads up on a rebel being held hostage who could help the fight, but is known to be a loose cannon. we could either free the rebel, kill him, or ignore the quest altogether.

One of the big showstoppers though is that Assassin's Creed Odyssey will have dialogue options and able to choose what your character is saying. Origins was known for its breathtakingly lovely recreation of ancient Egypt and Odyssey promises more of the same for Greece, but numerous locales seemed almost identical to places found in Origins. Setting players loose in the open Indian Ocean, this new mode will let them hunt merchant ships, loot trade routes, and sink enemy vessels either as a lone wolf or part of a pirate gang.

Expect a full reveal very shortly. We knew it was set in Ancient Greece. Holding the left shoulder button turns face buttons into ability activations, and the left trigger does this for bow-and-arrow abilities. But nothing comes close to the iconic Spartan kick.
