Here's a look at what to expect at this year's WWDC.

Google recently unveiled its own suite of "digital wellbeing" tools for its new Android P operating system.

It's been reported previously that Apple is working on the ability to run iOS apps on Macs.

Addiction to smartphones and other digital products and services built to be used in an obsessive manner is becoming an increasing concern, with health experts blaming over-reliance on devices for a range of conditions including deterioration of mental health and decline in concentration.

While the iPhone X (2018) and iPhone X Plus are somewhat expected, the budget iPhone X variant will have a 6-inch display with a metal chassis, single rear camera, and Face ID. Apple CEO Tim Cook has called it "big and profound", and the company released its first tools to let software developers make AR apps a year ago. It's unknown if they would form the basis of iOS 13 or whether or not Apple could introduce a feature-rich iOS 12 "point" release early in the year.

A new report highlights Apple's big plans to roll out a Digital Health initiative, seeking to make users more mindful of how often they use their phone.

ARKit 2.0 is being developed internally and this will enable a new mode that would let users play AR games against each other in the same virtual environment. The Black and White home screen design is free from colorful logs, distracting icons and badges that push you to spend more time on your smartphone.

WWDC, the first of which was held in 1983, is where the Californian company announces forthcoming software releases for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV platforms. These changes will be the most notable external enhancements since the Watch launched about three years ago, but the new models will still support watch bands from earlier models, another person said.

HomePod Apple is not coming slow!

To catch up to Amazon and Google's digital speakers, Apple will have to improve Siri.

This is Fortune's latest weekly roundup of the biggest Apple news.

Rumors suggest that Apple's plans for iOS 12 will make this refresh a bump, not a jump, a fine-tuning that fixes past problems and buffs up the quality of day-to-day use.
