Sanders Still cause for concern over FBI 'spy'

Fielding questions from journalists is part of the job for White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, but Wednesday, a question from a reporter got more than typical response. He said his school recently had a lockdown drill. "Specifically can you tell me what the administration has done and will do to prevent these senseless tragedies". Said, "Oh, the administration, yeah, we're going to meet later this week and talk about it", and, "We want you to feel safe". Adriana Diaz discusses her reporting on school shootings for her "Eye on America" series.

Her voice trembling, she continued: "The president has ordered our flags to half-staff and to further honor those lost in the attack we will hold a moment of silence on the South Lawn this afternoon at 2:45 Eastern this afternoon". All she could do was reference White House meetings that haven't even happened yet. But on Wednesday, a question from a child made this strong woman tear up.

Sanders said the Trump administration took the issue seriously and would do "every single thing within our power" to prevent more school shootings.

President Trump called for action after some of the recent high-profile school shootings.

Marin advocates for gun violence prevention said that Choucroun's comments were apropos on the eve of Wear Orange Weekend, a national gun violence awareness movement. "I wanted to expand on that and ask my question so that I can know how the White House is working to fix this important problem that we have". In a sober sign of the times, Benje asked about the gruesome reality that he and his classmates face: the fear of being shot in school.

"Where was Bob Iger's apology to the White House staff for Jemele Hill calling the president and anyone associated with him a white supremacist?" The republican controlled Supreme Court could do something about this, but none of them are.

But when it came time to actually answer his question, she had nothing. "I hope so", said Lee.
