LeBron James and the Twilight of the Cavaliers

Weiss Le Bron James continues to overpower Celtics in Game 4 win

LeBron James, 33, not only played them all; he led the National Basketball Association in minutes played in the regular season.

But James looked at times as if he were feeling the effects of the heavy load he has carried for the Cavs in these playoffs, coughing up six of Cleveland's 15 turnovers, including four in the second half. "I think everybody at this point is exhausted or worn down". After losing a pivotal Game 5 earlier this week, the Cavs will now have to win at home to extend the series to a seventh and final game versus the Boston Celtics. I'm not anxious about a Game 7.

James handles the ball more than anyone, so he has more chance to make mistakes.

"Not at all", he said.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers face a 3-2 series deficit in the Eastern Conference finals. There's not many of us '03 [draft] class guys still around. "And until we're dead and in our grave, until Golden State's dead in their grave, it's not over". The Cavs were 3-1 at The Q against the Pacers in the first round, 2-0 against Toronto in the conference semifinals and 2-0 so far against the Celtics.

With James on the bench to open the fourth quarter, the Celtics pushed a 16-point lead to 21. Also, the Cavaliers made just nine of their 34 attempts from three-point range and went 12 for 19 at the free-throw line.

One sign of that fatigue was a play in the opening minutes of the third quarter when James, finding himself on the perimeter in a favorable matchup against Aron Baynes, was able to easily blow by the Celtics center. I wouldn't like Kyle falling too much like that but he's doing whatever it take to get us to win. Back in 2012, James and the Miami Heat staved off elimination in Game 6 against the Boston Celtics before winning Game 7 at home to advance to the NBA Finals.

I'm fine. And I didn't mention the fatigue either. "He's deep into the postseason in his first year. I can't say it enough: We're one win away from going to the [NBA] Finals, especially after everything we've been through". "It doesn't get any better than that", he said.

"It should mean that he's gone, since he already did what he vowed to do, which was win a title for his hometown Cavs", Herring said of a loss.

And this squad is without the second-best player from Cleveland's previous championship runs, Kyrie Irving. Technical fouls were then assessed to Morris, Nance and Terry Rozier.

If the Celtics bring anything less than their best performance of this series, none of that outside stuff will matter. You just move on, and you get ready for the next one and you play it as well as you can, and I think one of the strengths of this team has been moving on.
