The Beulah Cemetery in Ramey will hold a Memorial Day service on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 9:30 am.

MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY, 10 to 11 a.m., The Fountains at Crystal Lake, 965 N. Brighton Circle West, Crystal Lake. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and follow a route along Front Street, Putnam Street, Fifth Street, Wooster Street and Eighth Street.

In the first year of Logan's declaration, an estimated 183 cemeteries hosted observances for Memorial Day, more commonly known as Decoration Day. May 28. An abbreviated service follows at 9:15 the Methodist Church fellowship hall. It will be held rain or shine. St. Augustine's Cemetery, Hecker. The official commemoration ceremony will be held immediately afterwards at Veterans Park.

The program at the chapel includes speaker Lt. Benjamin G. Smith. A Haverhill High School student is expected to recite "The Gettysburg Address", by former President Abraham Lincoln and a Whittier Vocational Technical High School student is expected to deliver General Logan's Order.

In 1931, the members of the Edwin C. Halsey American Legion Post 700 organized Memorial Day ceremonies for East Hampton for the first time in a number of years. Evergreen Cemetery (Little Arlington Section), 2600 E. Mt. Hope, Lansing.

The route is from Yelle School, east on Main Street to the stone monument at the corner of Pine and East Main streets for a brief ceremony. Hosted by American Legion Post 265.

Services will be led by members of the American Legion Post No. 143 and Fox-Eichelberger VFW Post No. 7415 at the Veteran's Memorial, Park Avenue and Bridge Street.

The Schenck's Cemetery Association will hold its annual Memorial Day service at the cemetery in Howard on Monday at 2 p.m. An outdoor BBQ will follow the ceremony. Light refreshments and cookies will be served following the program until 11:30 a.m. while the church remains open for fellowship. In case of bad weather, the ceremony will move to the Civic Center at McFerren Park.

Morning memorial services will begin at the Alaska Cemetery at 9 a.m. and continue at Blain Cemetery at 9:45 a.m., Dutton Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. and conclude at the Holy Corners at 11:15 a.m. The event runs from 11 3 p.m. and will include a small dog show. The Memorial Service will be at Grandview Cemetery following the parade.

From services to parades, listed below are events happening in Kent and Ottawa counties for the holiday. The Rantoul Township High School band will be part of the service.

The procession will travel north on Third Street to the West Side Cemetery at Third and Stevens streets, where a Memorial Day ceremony will be held.

United Veterans of the Flathead Valley have several Memorial Day ceremonies planned around the Flathead Valley. A parade lineup will happen next at the Village Green. Attendees should arrive early and park in the Memorial Park lot; buses will transport visitors from 9 1 p.m. The display of full-sized American flags at Main Street and Bellefonte Avenue is a community project of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven. Anyone wishing to participate should be at the Fairgrounds by 9:30 a.m. The parade will leave from the Pollard School and march to the Elm Street Cemetery.

The Wagner-Davis American Legion Post in Roberts will hold a Memorial Day service at 9 a.m. Monday, May 28, at the Roberts Gym.
