The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) is all set to release TN Board 10th result on May 23. Education Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan has declared the results in a press conference. DGE Tamil Nadu conducted the exam for TN Board Class 10 Result 2018 from March 16 to April 20 this year.

The official websites of Tamil Nadu DGE and board's official websites have not yet activated the links to check the results. The pass percentage of this year is 94.5 per cent.

Almost 1% or 9,402 students have secured about 481 marks, while over 38% students have scored in the range of 301-400 marks.

The pass percentage of girls in science is 99.17% and that of boys is 97.77%. But, Science subject has recorded the highest pass percentage of 98.47. The Tamil Nadu board SSLC results were declared on May 25 in 2016. The pass percentage for class 10 stood at 94.5 percent.

Those who have passed the Class X exams will have to take board exams in both Class XI and Class XII. They will also be able to download it from the directorate's official website - dge.tn.gov.in. Every year, almost 7 lakh students appear for both TN Board SSLC exams and TN Board HSC exams. Hence, students can check their class 10 scores from indiaresults.com, examresults.net. Official documents supporting the result will be released immediately after it is declared. Of the 860,434 students who appeared for the exams, 7,84,081 cleared it.
