Antonio Conte and Eden Hazard have spoken about Chelsea's season after beating Manchester United 1-0 to lift the FA Cup.

Gary Cahill has called for a resolution on Antonio Conte's future amid continued speculation the Italian could leave Chelsea.

Asked if he could have tried harder to enjoy a more stable relationship with his Chelsea superiors, Conte answered: "It's not simple, it's not simple to answer this question".

"Unbelievable. You can see what it means to us, to the fans and the staff". I can't change. My way is always the same.

"It is enough today but if we want to win a lot of games we need to play better because we had to play defensively".

A year on from winning the Premier League in his debut season in English football, Conte failed to even qualify Chelsea for the Champions League as they finished fifth in the Premier League.

He added: "I wanted to remember the moment, without being too emotional about it. But we are used to winning, not in an arrogant way, but we have to try to win things".

"I think you have to understand if in this season we had the maximum or not". "I think now if you want to win something like the Ballon d'Or or the top-scorer (award), you need to be selfish".

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, who managed Chelsea on two separate occasions, is extremely fond of Willian and attempted to bring him on previous year.

"Quick turn around for the world cup so looking forward to meeting up with the boys and doing the best we can in the tournament". I'm the coach of a great, important club, in England and the world. The rumour market is abuzz with various reports linking the FA Cup winners with various candidates to replace their Italian manager. A tremendous first season in charge saw the Blues coast to the title, and narrowly miss out on a League and FA Cup double at the hands of Arsenal. It wasn't easy but I'm very happy for our fans and my players.

"In every press conference I said that I'm committed to this club".

Alexis Sanchez, meanwhile, cut a frustrated figure at Wembley by sitting away from his United teammates as Chelsea's players picked up the trophy.

"As regards to the game itself, especially during the second half we had several chances to score and take the game to the extra time, but we didn't make it, so we have to be fair and congratulate Chelsea".
