Pauley Perrette Claims Multiple Assaults Drove Her to Leave 'NCIS'

"I left. Multiple Physical Assaults. I REALLY get it now. Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety. Tell someone" the CBS star wrote over the weekend

There may be more to Pauley Perrette's sudden departure from the long-running crime drama NCIS than originally thought.

In her last tweet on the matter Sunday, she said: "I've been supporting ant-bullying programs forever". You clearly don't know me. If it's school or work, that you're required to go? "I left. Multiple Physical Assaults". Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety. In the subsequent tweets, she claimed that she hadn't gone public with the real reason she left the show out of a sense of obligation to the crew and all the people who would lose their jobs if she did. But at what cost? Just know, I'm seeking to do the ideal issue, but maybe silence isn't even the most suitable thing concerning offense. I'm...

Shivers also claims said that Perrette wrote "malicious, harassing and legally defamatory" to his associates after he was elected to the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council, and that she has continued to label him a stalker, despite never having been convicted on stalking charges.

"There is a "machine" keeping me silent, and feeding FALSE stories about me", Perrette continued. "Trying to remain calm", she tweeted.

Last year Perrette wrote about being raped when she was 15, and said that the trauma from that led her into abusive relationships and kept her from speaking up for herself when she was bullied by a "powerful man" in a "work environment". "It's horrifying", she concluded.

The native of New Orleans followed up in the early hours of Sunday morning, tweeting: 'Maybe I'm wrong for not "spilling the beans" Telling the story, THE TRUTH. I, like, usually cry in my vehicle every single day when I drive to work. She added, "It's sad, But I hope hope hope you will all watch". And TONS of flashbacks. "And I say, 'thank you, ' and I say, 'I love you, guys, ' because I do. Get everyone to watch please".

In several interviews, she talked about how Sciuto encouraged girls to look at a career in science as an option for them, and that Abby has made it cool to be smart. "I have been in either pajamas or a bathing suit for nearly a month", she joked.
