When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot, they will not only be husband and wife-but they will now officially be Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Britain's Prince Harry stands with his fiancée U.S. actress Meghan Markle as she shows off her engagement ring while they pose for a photograph in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace in west London on 27 November 2017 following the announcement of their engagement.

Harry and Meghan will be presented the document after their marriage.

The Palace said: "The Instrument of Consent is drafted by the Crown Office and is, in the case of Prince Harry's marriage, hand-written and illuminated on vellum by one of a panel of scrivener artists retained by the Crown Office".

Elizabeth formally gave her consent to the marriage at a meeting of the Privy Council on March 14.

According to British tradition, royal men receive an important title on the morning of their wedding-and Harry is no exception.

Tens of thousands of visitors are expected in Windsor on the couple's wedding day on Saturday. Prince Harry's label and a Welsh leek are also incorporated into this artwork which is supported by olive branches, taken from the Great Seal of the USA.

He later told BBC News: "The fact that I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly was confirmation to me that all the stars were aligned".

They will then return to Windsor Castle for a lunch reception, before Harry's dad Prince Charles throws an evening party for select guests.

"Playing a real person who's being watched so closely by so many people, you know you're going to get scrutinized no matter what", Fitz-Henley says of playing Meghan.
