Tramaglini is superintendent of Kenilworth schools in New Jersey, which is nearby the Holmdel High School track where he allegedly defecated.

They likely did not expect to find their own district superintendent, who lives just a few miles away in Aberdeen, relieving himself on the football field in the wee hours of the morning, but according to police, that is exactly what happened.

Staff at Holmdel High School in Holmdel, NJ, had been finding human feces on or near the football field and track on a "daily basis".

Thomas Tramaglini, 42, who has been the superintendent in the Kenilworth School District since 2015, was arrested on Monday after he was seen defecating on the Holmdel High School football field and track, NJ.com reports. He's due in court this Monday.

The superintendent at Kenilworth schools has been placed on paid leave following an arrest after officials identified him as the person responsible for human feces being found in Holmdel.

The question is, why?

There are many things a school superintendent shouldn't do.

The district said in the message that per state law, unpaid leave is taken in the face of indictments or tenure charges.

"The Board of Education wants to assure faculty and staff, students and parents, that the district will continue its responsibilities without interruption", stated the district in the post, also promising to keep the community informed with any updates.
