The Cavaliers scored at least 30 points in three of the four quarters of the game as LeBron James, Kevin Love, JR Smith, Jeff Green, and George Hill all reached double-digit point totals.

TORONTO (AP) - LeBron James had 43 points and 14 assists, Kevin Love added 31 points and 11 rebounds, and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Toronto Raptors 128-110 on Thursday night to take a 2-0 lead in their second-round playoff series.

Love shot 11-of-21 from the field, including 2-of-6 from three, but it was his willingness to get physical in the paint, that caught the Raptors off guard.

James had eight rebounds, narrowly missing his second straight triple-double. They scored 13 points off 11 Raptors turnovers. DeMar DeRozan wasn't sharp in the defeat, netting 24 points on 11 for 23 shooting, which included an 0 for 5 effort from beyond the arc. Toronto won a team-record 59 games and finished as the top-seeded team in the Eastern Conference this season, but was easily shoved one step closer to a third straight postseason exit at the hands of James and the Cavs. The nine-year veteran center only scored seven points in game one, and he is now posting 13.1 points and 9.9 rebounds in the playoffs.

Toronto matched Houston by going 34-7 at home in the regular season, and went 3-0 at home against Washington in round one.

As the Raptors now head to Cleveland down two games, here's three takeaways from today's contest. He has accumulated 27 assists in two games in this series. Entering Game 2, Kevin Love was averaging just under 11 points a game in the playoffs.

The Toronto Raptors played poor defense in their rough game two loss on Thursday night.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers barely survived the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the National Basketball Association playoffs. Love made the technical free throw but James missed both of his attempts.

After trailing 63-61 at half-time, they came out of the break on a tear, opening the period on an 8-0 run, with Kyle Lowry, who had been fantastic in the first half (18 points) picking up his fourth foul in that space. Thompson scored 14 points and 12 rebounds. J.R. Smith is also having a tremendous series, sinking seven of nine three-point attempts, and he has tallied a combined 35 points in his last two games.Cleveland averaged 110.9 points in the regular season, ranking them fifth in the National Basketball Association.
